TranTech can also set up permissions for your files, which allows each staff member to have the right file access permission. Just like Microsoft Exchange, this is a sync-based tool. So, any changes made on one computer reflect over to all staff within seconds. Think of this solution as a network drive over the internet. – with a ton more features. Chat / Video

One of the harder challenges when working remotely is the lack of an instant answer – Microsoft Teams has you covered here. This is a great tool for a quick message or getting communications to all staff quickly. When working remotely, this tool really shines. Microsoft Teams allows for an instant answer from a team member when on the phone or just a funny meme to keep you going. Other features we use include video chat and screensharing with others.

Password Manager

The fear of not having access to all the normal websites is daunting for many. Having a password manager not only stops you from using the same or similar password on every website, it also makes it easy for all your passwords and favourite websites to be available in multiple locations.  A password manager should always be used with 2FA security.

Xero, Reckon and MYOB all have options to access all your accounts remotely.

Security

IT security is often lacking on home devices. Providing your staff with a company laptop, which has up to date anti-virus, encryption, strong passwords and multi factor security is always best practice.

More specialized.
