I can't see network drives in my program?

So you have Windows 10/11. In file explore I can see my network drive but I can’t see them in my program.

Here is the fix.

 

Configure the EnableLinkedConnections registry value:

  1. Create a backup of your registry:

    1. Start > type regedit > Enter

    2. On the top menu line, click on File and then Export

    3. Select a location for the file and enter a name;

    4. In the Export Range, click on All

    5. Click Save

  2. Click the Start button, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press the Enter key;

  3. Locate the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

and right click it;

  1. Point to New, and click DWORD Value.

  2. Type: EnableLinkedConnections, and press Enter;

  3. Right-click EnableLinkedConnections, and click Modify;

  4. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK;

  5. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.
